Two birds on a wire sat happy as can be

Two birds on a wire soon became three

Then, four, five and six joined in on the fun

Perched on high, they could see everyone

Six invited seven, who then invited eight

Nine and ten followed, "Oh! Isn't this great!"

Their voices united in sweet harmony

As they sang of the joy in life there could be

Fly freely fly far, ride the winds and perceive

Happiness lies within you

If you only believe!

 

In the introduction of  “A Joyful Life” and in the “About” section of this website, writerroberta.com, I share my particular journey to joy. But, it is because of the generosity of a few rare birds who so lovingly shared their stories with me that I have been able to share mine with you. Having done so, I hope to encourage you to share your story, impart your perspective, and express your thoughts about life and the joy to be had in living it.
