Off To The Kitchen

Break out the pots

And line-up the pans

We’re off to the kitchen

To work with our hands!

The COVID quarantine has either forced us or allowed us (depending on your perspective) to spend time in the comfort of our homes whether we like it or not. For me, personally, I’ve enjoyed having the additional time on my hands, but I am only one week into this adventure because Florida’s governor just recently called for the closing of all non-essential businesses, etc. We shall see how things go!

How I have spent my time...well, it’s not a stretch to say I’ve been writing, as I frequently do, but I have also spent a great deal of time in my kitchen. I have prepared breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. I have used fresh, whole, organic ingredients and recipes. And although I limit the amount of meat I like to consume, I am simmering what promises to be a tasty batch of homemade and organic chili as I type this article.

You may also be spending more time in the kitchen too. If so, let me highly recommend trying the 100% clean and completely organic “Feel Good Dough” line of products. I am in love with the chocolate dough (shocking right?), I appreciate the convenience of the ready-to-bake dough balls, and I’m getting acquainted with the highly-touted *Organic Multi-Purpose Dough Mix (dry ingredient) packages. They, of course, remind me of making pizza dough as a kid and baking bread in my own kitchen for my family years ago. And who doesn't like a sentimental trip down Memory Lane? I know I do!

So during this unprecedented time as we find ourselves hunkering down and isolating might I suggest rattling some pots, pans, and baking sheets? It might be the perfect recipe to reacquaint ourselves with our kitchens...discover or rediscover the importance of healthy eating habits...and reconnect with our loved ones. The benefits could go far beyond the duration of COVID-19. Stay healthy!
